Using a cleanse diet other than master cleanse?

Hey I want to jump start my weight loss with a 10 day thing like the master cleanse. I can't do the master cleanse cause I don't have lemons, limes, or cayenne peppers. Are there any that require more common ingredients?Using a cleanse diet other than master cleanse?

Are you 100% convinced that you need a cleanse to jump start your weight loss? As a nutritionist and personal trainer, I can promise you that you don't need these things.

All you need to do is to sit down at your desk for about half an hour and work out your caloric requirements for your weight loss phase. It honestly, seriously, amazes me that people think they can lose weight without learning the concept of caloric balance. Now, I'll be the first to admit that not everyone likes counting calories. In fact, most people abhor it. But, knowing that it can GUARANTEE you the weight loss you want, why oh why arent' more people investing more time in learning about it?

Remember this fact: Education is ALWAYS an investment. Spend some time learning about the basics of fat loss. Understand the concept of caloric balance and you will NEVER be fat again. It is that simple. Now i'm not sure how you feel, but it seems like a worthy investment to me.

Finally, successful weight loss involves a lifestyle change. It's not something you do for 2 weeks and then get back into old patterns. That's why you often hear people say that 95% of fad diets fail. That's simply NOT true. As a nutritionist, I can tell you that 99% of all diets work. You just have to stick to the diets. Most people try diets for 3 days and give up. Come on now, do you REALLY expect to see that much difference after 3 days? You need to give it at LEAST 2 weeks before you write off a diet as being useless.

And most of all, make sure you stick RELIGIOUSLY to the diet. Compliance is always the main issue, not the diet itself. You can't stick to 80% of the diet and expect things to work. You have to give it your 100% commitment.
