Can a thirteen year old do the Master Cleanse diet?

My mom and I want to do it together, but we don't know if I could. What do you guys think? Can a thirteen year old do the Master Cleanse diet?
First of all, it's not a diet, it's a cleanse, and you shouldn't be thinking of it as a diet- it is NOT meant to lose weight.

Second of all, I wouldn't recommend it for anyone that has to go to school or do stuff daily besides sit at home. It is unpleasant and sometimes painful. You will be in the bathroom all day. Every day. And you only ingest about 700 calories a day, so you may feel tired and dizzy sometimes. And of course, hungry, but that usually wears off after a few days.

If you truly want to do this, I recommend you read the book The Master Cleanser from cover to cover with your mom and then make the decision. Can a thirteen year old do the Master Cleanse diet?
I don't know what that is, but it doesn't sound safe. I say no.
What is it that makes you and your mother think that you aren't 'clean'?

Why do you think you need to clean your intestinal tract. A place that completely turns over all its contents, and most of its lining every few days?

Cleaning from what?

Toxins? What toxins? Are there 'ways' your body actually uses to get rid of toxins 'naturally'?

The cleansing thing is ....

sort of a

scam....

You've GOT to have something more important in your life than cleaning out your colon. (which you do anyway a number of times per week)!

Reading would be good.
no you dont need to you are 13 be concerned about what dress your barbie will be wearing
