Those cleanses are dangerous. Seriously. One of my co-workers went into the hospital 3 days after using one. It really messed up her insides.
Besides that, these cleanses don't do anything to burn fat. They may flush your digestive system (and kill all of your good bacteria), but they do nothing to burn fat.
Well if you have a bit of money there is this great book that can help you. I used it and it made my cleanse much easier to deal with. As far as parents go there isn't a lot you can do...
